John 9

We went to this new church here called Flatirons Community Church. I just have to share this insight that the pastor had. So, the story is about the blind man that Christ healed. I thought it was interesting how many times the blind man repeated his story to the pharisees and he didn't even believe that Christ was the Messiah at that time. He just kept saying that I was blind and now I can see so regardless if I believe that Christ was the Son of God, He still healed me. Then it was only after that when Christ told him who He was, that the blind (well not so blind anymore :) man believed. The point being that even though the blind man didn't know very much about religion or even the Bible he still was able to share his story. I think that there are times we think we don't know enough to talk to people about Christ and we forget we have a story about how God changed our lives and made us "see".
I don't know if you have ever heard of that but I thought that was an encouragement to us in that, we should be sharing our story with people in our lives because they may be able to argue politics, religious commandments or even tradition but they can't argue with our own story of God's love for us.
