I think I say the words "Be Careful" way too much as a mom. Most of the time it is warranted but I know that I am a little overprotective and overbearing sometimes. I am working on it! Today I was taught this lesson by my three year old.
Ryan picked up a baseball tee and was swinging it around the house.
I said, "Be careful Ryan"
Ryan "I don't need to be careful mom, I am not going to whack you with it, or Hannah or the floor, or my cars, or my friends."
I say, "So I don't need to worry about us?"
Ryan, "Nope!'
There you have it. I don't need to worry, he has it covered! :)
